Bright Horizon Ahead Of Iran’s Foreign Trade: Official

Zahedan, Sistan-Baluchestan Prov., Oct 12, IRNA – Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Gholamhossein Shafeie Saturday said the present condition is promising a bright horizon for Iran’s foreign trade. He said due to the emergence of new conditions in the country and constructive interaction between the government and the outside world Iran has been placed in a completely new situation in terms of economic transactions. “No doubt, with the continuation of this trend by the government a new horizon will be opened before foreign economic exchanges.” Shafeie made the remark in this southeastern provincial capital where he participated in a ceremony for the opening of the provincial bureau of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture. Stressing that the chamber, with regard to the geographical location of Sistan-Baluchestan Province was highly strategic for the country, he said Zahedan Chamber of Commerce can become the forehead of Iran’s trade in the Indo China region. “Given its strategic positions, Zahadan Chamber can play a highly effective role in the country,” the official said, adding that Iran Chamber is resolved to pay special attention to Zahedan Chamber as its external activities with India, China and Afghanistan will greatly affect Iran’s economic situation./end
