Business matching organised in Bangkok Nov 13-16

BANGKOK, November 11 (TNA) - The Thai Ministry of Commerce has invited important importers of rice, rice produce and cassava from around the world to participate in a business matching event set to be held in Bangkok during November 13-16, 2016. Thai Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn told journalists of the event on Friday, when purchase orders worth over 60 billion baht are expected to be signed. Besides, the ministry plans to organise various exhibitions in 2017 to promote Thai rice, including the Food Fiesta in Hong Kong, the Biofach in Germanary, Gulfood in Dubai, Foodex in Japan, Summer Fancy Food and Natural Products in the United States and the China-ASEAN Expo. According to the minister, some other international events will also be organised in Thailand next year to promote Thai rice and other farm produce, namely THAIFEX World of Food, the Biofach ASEAN/Organic and Natural Expo.
