Businessmen From India, Malaysia To Enhance Networking At A Dinner

Sankara KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 (Bernama) -- Entrepreneurs and corporate leaders from Malaysia and India will have an opportunity to enhance their business networking at a dinner session which will be held at the Spice Garden restaurant, Jalan Delima, off Jalan Bukit Bintang, here on July 21, 2014. Event organiser, S. Radhakrishnan, said the business-cum-social event would create an avenue for networking and to encourage interaction among the businessmen to foster closer understanding and cooperation. He said the event would bring together officials of the Malaysia India Business Council, the Bharat Club, chief executive officers (CEOs) and directors of Indian companies based in Malaysia and CEOs and directors of Malaysian companies doing businesses in India. "This dinner will provide a good networking opportunity for the businessmen from India and Malaysia. It is our fervent hope that it will promote and foster bilateral trade between the two countries. "It is also aimed at enhancing the existing good relations between the two countries," he told Bernama. The dinner is jointly hosted by lawyer Radhakrishnan and Indian businessman and managing director of the Spice Garden chain of restaurants, Pardeep Batra. Radhakrishnan said Health Minister Dr S. Subramaniam would be the guest-of-honour at the event. "Vijay Jolly, the Global Convenor of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Overseas Affairs from New Delhi who will be attending as special guest," he said. Among other dignitaries attending the dinner will be Indian High Commissioner to Malaysia, T.S. Tirumurti and the Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Dr Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria. -- BERNAMA
