Buzzme Eyes Higher Share In Malaysia's MVNO Market

PETALING JAYA (Selangor, Malaysia), Aug 26 (Bernama) -- Telecommunication service provider, Buzzme, aims to increase its share in Malaysia's mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) market, driven by its new look and innovative marketing strategy. Chief Executive Officer, Loke Yee Siong, said the company was optimistic of growing its customer base to 500,000 by year-end. He said the target could be achieved with better products, plans, promotions and rewards that the company would introduce into the market, along with a new logo, new tagline and revamped website in conjuction with its third anniversary celebration. "We hope our value-for-money plans and lifestyle rewards will capture the target audience, comprising Gen X, Gen Y and also the millennials. "Besides ongoing improvement to our network solutions, Buzzme will continue to leverage on its position as an MNVO to offer affordable prepaid services, unique rewards and subscription plan with unlimited validity, providing smarter choices for mobile prepaid," he said in a press conference here Thursday. The company planned to launch new product lines including push-to-talk and taxi mobile applications and a new business segment to cater to the small and medium enterprises by the fourth quarter of this year, Loke added. Buzzme has identified three core values for the brand, namely providing customers with the strongest and fastest mobile service, breaking down communication barriers and helping customers stay connected to loved ones. --BERNAMA
