China’s Poly Technologies viewing participation in refinery and pulp-and-paper plant construction in Russia’s Komi Region

SYKTYVKAR, August 18. /TASS/. China’s Poly Technologies is viewing options of participating in a range of investment projects in Russia’s Komi Region. Potential construction of a refinery and a pulp-and-paper plant is considered, regional administration told TASS on Tuesday. "Representatives of the Chinese company are very interested in projects, requested detailed information about the business in the region and the potential government support options, and are currently reviewing all the presented projects," the administration said. The pulp-and-paper plant is planned to be built in Troitsko-Pechorsky district of the region. The refinery construction data are not disclosed. Komi has two operating refineries at present. Read more
