ISTANBUL (A.A) - 04.03.2011 - A Chinese company watches for opportunities to enter Turkish market with a foreign partner.
China based China Electric Equipment Group (CEEG), manufacturing solar panel, is eager to share its experiences with Turkey in renewable energy.
Egemen Seymen, the Sales and Marketing Director of the company told A.A correspondent that CEEG was one of the five biggest solar panel manufacturers of the world.
Seymen said the company, with its more than 6,000 staff, gave support to many projects in Europe and besides manufacturing solar panels, the company established solar energy power plants.
Seymen said many international banks of Europe approved products of CEEG to take place in projects. "The company is the market leader in Italy now, and took important steps in Greece. Electricity of the islands started to be produced from solar energy. It is saddening that actual installed capacity in Turkey is not even 2MW."
Referring to the advantages of solar energy, Seymen said advantages of solar energy were much more than other sources, adding that CEEG was eager to become leader with solar plants in Turkish market.
Seymen said they would be able to reach their targets set for Turkey in 2012 or 2013.
