Chinese Envoy Hails Tehranˈs Great Capacities For Boosting Trade Ties With Beijing

Birjand, March 10, IRNA – Chinese Ambassador to Iran Yohong Yang said on Sunday that Iran boasts of numerous capacities for expanding commercial relations with Beijing. In a meeting with governor general of South Khorassan province, he said that the province, like the other Iranian provinces, enjoys various capacities which should be fully utilized. Noting that over 100 Chinese companies and the chamber of commerce coordinating the activities of the companies in Tehran, Yang said that the companies can also undertake the implementation of the economic projects in the province. The ambassador contended that South Khorassan province has a significant location to create an economic corridor extending from Chabahr, Zahedan, Birjand and Mashhad to Central Asia and China. In view of its special location, South Khorassan province can play a crucial role in promoting Iran-China commercial ties, he said./end
