Chinese Officials Call For Expanding Ties With Iran

Beijing, Dec 24, IRNA – The executive and economic officials of Foshan industrial town in southern China called for the further expansion of mutual cooperation with Iran. The Chinese officials made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Consul General in Guangzhou Ali Reza Salarian. The Guangzhou economic officials, including head of Foreign Trade Promotion, Deputy Head of Chamber of Commerce, Director-General of Foreign Affairs and representative of a big company having economic relations with Iran held talks with Iranian official. The two sides underlined exchange of economic delegations between Foshan and the Iranian cities. Foshan with a population of 7.5 million is located in southern China. The most important products of the city are aluminum, furniture, home appliances, ceramic and chinaware./end
