CIS countries have all opportunities to launch new mutually beneficial projects - Putin

SOCHI, October 11. /TASS/. The CIS countries have all opportunities for the launch of new large and mutually beneficial projects, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting of the CIS summit. He said that at the summit particular attention will be paid to economic issues such as development of trade and investment, removal of barriers on the way of goods and services. "We have opportunities to launch new large mutually beneficial business projects," the Russian president stressed. "We will outline ways of further strengthening of cooperation within the CIS, exchange views on what should be done to improve the effectiveness of the Commonwealth and its structures," Putin added, referring to the agenda of the leaders' meeting. Also a number of important decisions in humanitarian cooperation will be approved, he said adding that implementation of those decision will contribute to strengthening of good-neighborly relations between the countries and peoples of the CIS, exchanges in science, education, tourism, etc. Read more
