CIS Market, Opportunity For Iranian Producers: Envoy

Tehran, Sept 29, IRNA - Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Reisi said on Monday that the market of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries is a proper opportunity for the Iranian producers. Reisi also said that the Iranian embassy in Yerevan is ready to reinforce the level of mutual transactions with Armenia. Pointing to the vast potentials of the Aras Free Trade Zone, in northwest of Iran, in economic, cultural, investment and tourism arenas, he emphasized the need for fostering media cooperation between the two countries. Aras Free Trade Zone is located in northwest Iran, neighboring Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic. The Aras Free Zone includes 51,000 hectares of land. The Commonwealth of Independent States is a regional organization whose member countries are the former Soviet Republics, formed during the breakup of the Soviet Union./end
