Cityscape Malaysia 2015 Aims To Generate US$4.8 Mln In Economic Impact

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 (Bernama) -- Cityscape Malaysia 2015, the world's largest real estate investment and development event, aims to generate an estimated US$4.86 million (RM15.5 million) in economic impact. In a statement Tuesday, Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) said the event, from Feb 4-6 next year, was expected to attract over 5,000 participants and 70 exhibitors. It said besides the exhibition, Cityscape Malaysia 2015 will also play host to Malaysia Real Estate Summit and Islamic Property Finance Forum. Its chief executive officer, Zulkefli Sharif, said Malaysia was selected due to its robust economy comprising continued growth, an educated workforce and quality infrastructure. Cityscape, group director, Deep Marwaha, said the company kept its pulse on the real estate market across all corners of the globe and Malaysia stood out due to its continuous economic growth and robust real estate sector.
