Currency rates in July

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Approximate rate of the US dollar equaled to MNT 2031.90 by the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) in July of this year, which means the MNT rate declined by 53.62 or 2.7% against the previous year. The MNT rate increased by 2.0% in June of 2016, but it declined by 3.4% in July. The MNT rate against Chinese Yuan (CNY) was MNT 304.41 in July 2016, increasing by MNT 14.23 or 4.5% against the previous year. Togrog rate against CNY increased by 3.0% in June, whereas it decreased by 2.1% in July. The MNT rate against Russian rouble (RUB) was MNT 31.51 in July 2016, increasing by MNT 2.95 or 8.6% against the previous year. MNT rate against RUB increased by 1.2% in June, whereas it decreased by 4.5% in July.
