Daily transfer of 13ml clean gasoline from Arak refinery to Tehran

Tehran, Nov 2, IRNA – Chairman of Oil and Oil Products Transfer Center of Shazand said some 13 million liters of clean gasoline produced at Imam Khomeini Refinery of Arak are transferred from the center to Tehran and Karaj on daily basis. Mohammad Salimi-Panah told IRNA that the center after Rey Center is the most important transfer pipeline for oil and oil products in the country. Referring to daily transfer of 500 thousand barrels of crude oil through two 26-inch pipeline the official said 260 thousand barrels of crude oil are transferred to Imam Khomeini (RA) Refinery in Shazand of Arak and 240 thousand barrels to Tehran and Tabriz refineries. He also pointed to the performance details of three 10, 16 and 12 inches pipelines for the transfer of oil products and further remarked that the 10 and 16 inches pipelines transfer products of Abadan Refinery to Rey and the 12 inch pipeline transfers oil products to Hamedan. Salimi-Panah referred to daily transfer of 13.5 million liters of gasoline to Tehran and said every day 13 million liters of clean gasoline produced at Shazand Refinery of Arak as well as a certain amount of super gasoline are transferred to metropolitan cities of Tehran and Karaj. He said Shazand is considered as the highway for transfer of energy in the country through which while the feed of Shazand Refinery in Arak is maintained, feed of the refineries in Tehran and Tabriz are also maintained. The Shazand oil transfer center is one of the main centers of Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company in Markazi Region which is situated in the vicinity of Imam Khomeini Refinery in Shazand of Arak, Arak Petrochemical Complex and Arak Power Plant./end
