Danamon Allocates Rp52 Trillion During Lebaran

Jakarta, July 23 (Antara) - Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk has allocated cash worth Rp52 trillion to cater to the needs of its customers during the Lebaran holidays this year. "Danamon strives to provide good services with the support of its branch offices across Indonesia," Director Operations Muliadi Rahardja stated here on Wednesday. Danamon announced about the operational activities of its branch offices and readiness of cash to meet the needs of its customers before and after Idul Fitri. About 10 branch offices will remain open to serve the customers` banking transactions, but on July 30-July 31, they will carry out selective operations such as opening accounts, cash deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfer. Clearing system services and real time gross settlement (RTGS) will not be operational on the aforementioned days. The ten branch offices that will remain operational are Pondok Indah Mall, Taman Anggrek, Kelapa Gading, Metropolitan Mall, Governor Suryo Surabaya, Hayam Wuruk, Achmad Yani in Makassar, Putri Hijau Medan, Asia Africa in Bandung, and Pemuda in Semarang. On August 1, 89 branch offices will operate and serve its customers by offering services such as opening accounts, cash deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfer. Clearing system services and RTGS will not be carried out by the branch offices. Danamon has also provided services to its customers through "weekend banking," which is open on the weekends. During the Lebaran holidays, Danamon`s branch offices` "weekend banking" will provide banking transactions, except for the Danamon branch office located in Block A, Tanah Abang, Jakarta. The office will be temporarily closed by the management of the building from July 26 to August 2. In addition, the customers can also carry out transactions via automated teller machines (ATMs), cash deposits via Cash Deposit Machine (CDM), Danamon Online Banking, SMS Banking, and Phone Banking. "We believe our customers have been getting accustomed to using alternative channels, so that the convenience is not disturbed during holidays. The bank management also wishes `Happy Eid 2014` to the entire Indonesian society," Rahardja affirmed.
