Danish FM welcomes expansion of ties with Iran

TEHRAN, May 04 (MNA) – Iran’s Deputy FM Ghashghavi was received by Danish FM Jensen in Copenhagen and the two officials stressed on development of all-out relations. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranian Expatriates Affairs, Hassan Ghashghavi, met with Denmark’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Kristian Jensen, on Wednesday in Copenhagen and exchanged views on ways to develop ties and the latest developments in the Middle East, reported Iran’s Foreign Ministry. Jensen, during the meeting, voiced content with his latest visit to Tehran, during which he was accompanied by representatives of 60 Danish companies, and called for speeding up the expansion of ties especially in the areas of trade and economy. The Danish official highlighted that the Danish companies are enthusiastic about cooperation with Iranians and voiced hope that the MoUs signed in Tehran ease financial transactions for the businessmen, bankers, and traders of the two countries. Jensen also stressed on the bold role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Middle East and the developments in the region and underlined that Iran has positive impacts on improving the conditions in the ME. The Iranian diplomat, for his part in the same meeting, voiced the eagerness of his country for developing all-out relations with Denmark. The two sides also exchanged views and discussed the ways to improve the current level of parliamentary and consular cooperation.
