EAEU is holding free trade zone talks with Israel, India, Egypt and Iran - Russian President’s aide

MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Member-states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are holding free trade zone talks with Israel, India, Egypt and Iran, Russian President’s aide Yuri Ushakov said on Monday. "The issue of launching such talks /about free trade zone/ will also be discussed /at the summit meeting of EAEU states on October 16," Ushakov said. "I would like also to note that an opportunity of executing the free trade zone agreement with India, Egypt and Iran is examined at the expert level," he added. "Since foreign partners show interest in cooperating with the Eurasian Union and the Agreement on the free trade area was signed with Vietnam in May, launch of similar talks will also be discussed," Kremlin’s representative said. Deepening of cooperation with China, including integration with the Silk Road initiative, will also be discussed at the summit, Ushakov said. Consultations on that issue already started, he added.
