ECO Environmental Science And Technology Center Ready To Boost Int'l Co-op

Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA – Head of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Institute of Environmental Science and Technology voiced willingness to enhance international cooperation. Talking to IRNA, Asghar Mohammadi-Fazel said the institute is ready to cooperate with Ramsar Regional Center in West and Central Asia, World Conservation Monitoring Centre, Pakistan Science Foundation and several other international organizations. He also urged the ECO member states to support the scientific and research activities. The ECO is an intergovernmental organization involving seven Asian and three Eurasian nations, part of the South-central Asian Union. It provides a platform to discuss ways to improve development and promote trade, and investment opportunities./end
