Economy Ministry Recalls 2006-2012 Range Rover Cars

Doha, December 01 (QNA) - The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in cooperation with Alfardan Premier Motors, the exclusive importer of Land Rover in Qatar, has announced the recall of 2006-2012 Range Rover cars due to a defect in the front brake hoses durability. The recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights. The ministry stressed that it will coordinate with the dealership to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects. The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
