Energy Minister: Azerbaijan`s gas production makes 30bn cm

Baku, April 23 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani energy minister Natig Aliyev has said the country`s gas production reached 30 billion cubic meters. “This will help us both meet our domestic demand and supply our gas to foreign markets,” said Aliyev as he addressed the International Caspian Energy Forum – 2014 in Baku. “Azerbaijan has fully ensured its energy security, and is today playing an important role in ensuring energy security of Europe.” “The gas to be extracted in the phase two of the Shahdeniz field exploration will meet Europe`s demand,” he added.
