Energy minister to take part in OPEC, Non-OPEC meeting

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza left for Doha, Qatar, today to take part in the joint OPEC and Non-OPEC producers, to be hosted by Qatar on Sunday. Dr. Mirza is participating in the meeting at the invitation of Qatar's Minister of Energy and Industry Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada. The minister highlighted the importance of the meeting that will bring together ministers who are responsible for oil affairs from various countries of the world, in light of the challenges created by the fall in oil prices and its impacts on the international economy. The joint meeting will provide a platform for holding discussions on the current situation of the global oil market, as well as ways to re-balance it, he said.
