Envoy: Over 2,000 Spanish Companies Working In Iran

Madrid, Feb 20, IRNA – Iranˈs ambassador to Madrid Morteza Saffari said more than 2,000 Spanish companies in different sectors of economy, industry and trade are working in Iran. Saffari told reporters on Tuesday there is a positive viewpoint toward Spain in Iran, so it is a good opportunity for companies from this European country. He said because of political behavior of certain European countries like France and Germany, the Iranian government reacted reciprocally against them and this situation has created an opportunity for Spanish firms to attend Iranˈs market. Saffari persuaded Spanish companies to take advantage of the situation and invest in Iran. He described relations between Iran and Spain ˈfriendlyˈ and said that positive look of Iranian government and people towards Spain, is a big asset for Spanish firms activities in Iran. The ambassador reminded that Iran is a big country with around 80 million population and entering into its market means to reach a market in the region with 300 million population./end
