Eurasian partnership should change continent’s political, economic landscape - Putin

BEIJING, May 14. /TASS/. The Eurasian partnership should change the political and economic landscape of the continent and ensure better quality of life for its peoples, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday during the One Belt, One Road forum in the Chinese capital Beijing. "Russia sees the future of the Eurasian partnership not simply in creating new ties between the states and economies, it should change the political and economic landscape of the continent and bring peace, stability, prosperity and an absolutely new quality of life to Eurasia," the Russian leader said. He added that the states are certain to succeed in this project if they "act in the spirit of cooperation." In this respect, he described China’s Silk Road project initiative as timely and positive.
