Euronet, Infinitium Incorporate Online Technology In Indian Financial Services

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- Global e-payment provider Euronet Services India Pvt Ltd and Infinitium Holdings Pvt Ltd are collaborating to incorporate online technology innovation within India's financial services and retail sector. Under the collaboration, Euronet will leverage Infinitium's differentiated technology for online authentication and authorisation together with its knowledge of the Indian market. Infinitium is a Malaysia-based regional payments solution provider, specialising in a multitude of end-to-end solutions in electronic payments and authentication services for internet and mobile applications. Euronet India and South Asia Managing Director Himanshu Pujara said the Indian eCommerce industry had witnessed expansive growth over the past few years and this is expected to continue over the next few years. "We are looking at exploiting this opportunity of enabling secure online transactions through a world-class service offering with a scalable and compliant authentication platform," he said in a joint statement Monday. Meanwhile, Infinitium Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Ho Ching Wee said the partnership would result in an authenticated payment platform which creates confidence and trust to engage in digital payments among cardholders, merchants and banks. -- BERNAMA
