Exploitation of joint gas fields prioritized

Tehran, Dec 10, IRNA — Director of the Public Relations Department at the Non-Industrial Operations Pars Pasargad Company (Assaluyeh site), Ali Hassan-Nejad, says exploitation of common gas fields will be the priority of the government in the future. Hassan-Nejad told a group of 15 IRNA reporters in Assaluyeh in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) in Bushehr Province on Wednesday, 'Development and exploitation of the gas reserves common with the neighboring states is the focal point of the country in the future. Then it will be the turn of other fields.' PSEEZ is located adjacent to Assaluyeh, a village on the Persian Gulf, 280 Km southeast of Bushehr, 570 Km northwest of Bandar Abbas, and a 100 Km away from the offshore southern Pars Gas Fields in the Persian Gulf.
