BANGKOK, March 25 (TNA) - Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce organizes Export Garment Fair 2017, expecting to generate more than Bt20 million in revenue and boost domestic sale. The Department of International Trade Promotion has cooperated with the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association (TGMA) in organising the Export Garment Fair, said Supapat Ongsangkoon, deputy director-general of the department. More than 100 manufacturers of garment export firms are participating at the fair being held for the 35th time. The fair, began Friday and ends April 2, is being organised at the department headquarters. Thavorn Kanokvaleewong, president of TGMA, said his association has a policy to cooperate with the government in promoting the garment industry so that it could grow on a long-term sustainable basis.
