Exporting goods to Iraq resume from Chazabe & Shalamcheh borders

Ahvaz, IRNA - The supervisor of Khuzestan customs Behrouz Qarabeigi said on Wednesday that exports of non-oil goods from the border markets of Chazabe and Shalamcheh resumed. Qarabeigi said that the export of goods from two customs in Chazabe and Shalamcheh has been carried out after coordination and the readiness of Iranian and Iraqi businessmen has been operational. The export of goods to Iraq from the borders of Chazabe and Shalamcheh had been halted since September 5, coinciding with the culmination of the departure of the Arbaeen pilgrims and the lack of readiness of the Iraqi side to import goods from these borders. Earlier, he noted that despite the unfair sanctions against the country, the volume of exports from different Iranian cities indicates the efforts of the officials in the national economic sectors to develop trade exchanges with other countries. He further referred to the petrochemical products, vegetables, minerals, and gas condensate as the main goods exported from Bushehr to different world countries. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
