First Tourism Complex To Be Established In Chabahar

Chabahar, Sistan-Baluchestan, Sept 23, IRNA – Managing Director of Chabahar Free Trade and Industry Zone, Hamed Ali Mobaraki, says the first tourism complex in Chabahar Free Zone will be built with a fund of 1500 billion rials. Speaking at a free zones managerial meeting, Mobaraki said the complex will be built in an area of 30 hectares and will be equipped with residential units, cinema and fun fair. Stressing that the existing difficulties of Chabahar airport will be removed soon, he said it is proposed that airlines such as Kish Air and Qeshm Air also open new flights to Chabahar in order to increase flight capacity to the zone. He expressed the hope that with the support of the government and by moving towards realization of targets the transit corridor in east of the country will be developed soon and will reach its real status among international corridors. He said given that the mission of Chabahar Free Zone Organization is transit and development of trade with eastern neighboring countries, the organization has taken measures to accelerate construction of railway, jetty and terminal at the airport to facilitate flights. Meanwhile, he added, removal of obstacles on the way of construction of petrochemical complex, refinery, steel mill, completion of gas transfer line from Iranshahr to Chabahr, and follow up of construction of second Milak Bridge in line with transit to Afghanistan have been among other steps taken by the organization./end
