Foreign Companies Ready For Presence In Shahid Rajei Port

Tehran, Sept 30, IRNA – A deputy director at Ports and Shipping Organization says with the arrival of a Taiwanese ship at Shahid Rajei Port other foreign companies have announced readiness for presence in the port and negotiations are underway with foreign partners in this regard. Ali Jahandideh further remarked that unjust sanctions had provided a pretext for blocking arrival of foreign ships at the port and now with the removal of the hurdles, companies forward their new programs with greater confidence. Referring to dissatisfaction of some domestic companies with the time for release of their cargoes at Shahid Rajaei Port, Jahandideh said companies which have already specified a window and concluded contracts in this regard would be led to the anchor location for the release of cargoes. Stressing that there is no difference between domestic and foreign companies, the official said ships of each company can enter the reloading and loading area of Shahid Rajei Port according to the schedule./end
