Formalities Done To Import Goods From Oil Income

Tehran, April 24, IRNA -- Formalities have been done to import goods from oil income, a step to remove the obstacles in the way of foreign trade, Gholam-Hossein Ashrafi, official in charge of National Iranian Oil Company Public Relations, said on Tuesday. Ashrafi said that NIOC has studied many alternatives to remove the obstacles in the way of foreign trade. Additionally, the NIOC and the Central Bank of Iran are looking for other ways for the purpose, he added. He noted that given abundant advantages of the alternatives, it is now customary in many international dealings and is cited in many contracts. ˈOne of the positive dimensions of the alternatives is that it ensures ease of mind in the wake of crude oil sale. Meanwhile, barter trade would diversify foreign trade of oil and related industry, while guaranteeing earning major portion of oil revenues on schedule,ˈ he concluded./end
