Gasoline Plant Needs 2.5b-Euro Investment

Tehran, May 11, IRNA - A gasoline production plant at the Isfahan refinery needs a 2.5b-euro investment, said the managing-director of National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction. ˈThe gasoline plant is one of the most important refining projects underway by the NIOECˈ, the petroenergy newsnetwork SHANA quoted Mir-Ali Asghar Sajedi as saying on Sunday. The project is designed to reduce fuel oil production, increase gasoline production and boost gasoline quality, kerosene and gasoil to the European standards. Sajedi said producing gasoline from fuel oil needs 1.6b euros in credit. He also said that Bandar Abbas refinery’s gasoline production is to increase by 4.8 ml/d. Sajedi also said that development of the Abadan Oil Refinery would also need 2.6b euros in credit./end
