Gilan Offers New Facilities To Attract Foreign Investors

Rasht, Gilan Prov., Oct 19, IRNA – Governor General of Gilan Province says new facilities have been prepared for attraction of foreign investors to the province. The facilities, he said, include allocation of lands and visa formalities. Mohammad Ali Najafi, speaking to the Kuwaiti media representatives who visited the province, underlined the need for development and strengthening of trade and economic relations between the two countries. He pointed to the potentials and capabilities of the province in different fields such as tourism, industry, trade and agriculture and expressed hope that by transferring those capabilities to Kuwait expansion of bilateral relations would be realized. Najafi said the beautiful natural landscape in different cities all were proofs to such a claim and invited Kuwaiti investors to take measures for making investment in establishing facilities in tourism regions of the province. “We are prepared to render facilities such as land allocation and offering new facilities in visa section for investment in plains, mountainous areas and coastal points.” Meanwhile, he added, in the scientific and technological field and knowledge-based firms special facilities have been considered that Kuwait investors could take advantage of. The Kuwaiti media delegation, comprising TV networks and newspapers, inspected investment opportunities of the province, including Anzali Trade-Industrial Free Zone, during their three-day visit to the province./end
