GOIC Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Kaizen Consulting Group

Doha, May 31 (QNA) - The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kaizen Kaizen Institute Consulting Group, a globally recognized leader in consulting and training. The MoU aims at fostering cooperation between the two sides to contribute to promoting their expertise in consulting and investment, GOIC said in a statement. The MoU was signed at GOIC headquarters in Doha by Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Projects Sector Dr. Ali Hamed Al Mulla on behalf of GOIC Secretary General Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al Ageel, and by KAIZEN Director General Dr. Saad bin Ibrahim Al Khalaf. Dr. Al Mulla said that the MoU will establish relations of cooperation and consultation in the industrial and economic spheres to advance the industrial sector in the Gulf countries and creating qualified cadres involved in consultancy, especially in the industrial field. For his part, Dr. Al Khalaf said that the MoU will contribute to strengthening the capacity and skills of the two sides in the areas of consulting, investment and training, especially for entrepreneurs. The MoU aims to establish a framework to facilitate cooperation and coordination, and to create a working relationship and working partnerships between the two sides in order to achieve the common interest help entrepreneurs and investors to take advantage of business opportunities. The cooperation between the two sides aims to improve performance and building capacity for consultants and staff working in the factories and companies, and providing consultancy to factories, companies and the government sector, in addition to holding conferences, seminars and lectures and the implementation of programs, training projects and workshops in the GCC countries. The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) is a regional organization based in Doha and includes the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states: The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, as well as Yemen. The Organization was founded to achieve industrial cooperation and coordination between member states. GOIC offers specific suggestions aiming at establishing joint industrial projects between member states and delivers recommendations to reconcile industrial development projects. It coordinates and develops technical and economic cooperation between existing industrial institutions and others that are yet to be established. In addition to that, GOIC offers technical assistance in preparing and assessing industrial projects and puts together industrial sector-related data and studies. Kaizen Al Arabia is part of Kaizen Institute Consulting Group - Switzerland. It has offices in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Algeria, and several under construction offices in other Arab countries. (QNA)
