Goods Exported From Qazvin Within 6 Months Stand At 200,000 Tons

Qazvin, Oct 29, IRNA – Some 200,000 tons of goods worth dlrs 181.3 million were exported from Qazvin province in first six months of the Iranian calendar year (started March 20), said deputy commerce minister of industry, mine and commerce. Talking to IRNA, Majid Barzgar said that the figure shows an increase of 5.5 percent in value and 2.5 percent in weight compared to the figure for the corresponding period last year. Exported goods mainly include ironware, steel, tiles and ceramics, powder milk, raisin, washing-up liquids, industrial oil, sewing machine, CDs and water cooler and motorcycles, he noted, adding that they were exported to Iraq, Turkey, India, Afghanistan, UAE, Syria, Pakistan, Azerbaijan Republic and Turkmenistan. Barzgar further noted that some 63,000 tons of goods worth dlrs 349 million were imported to Qazvin province in the first six months of the current Iranian year, registering a raise of 19 percent in value and 22 percent in weight./end
