Gov’t Proposed Package Can Lead To Economic Development: Official

Hamedan, Sept 11, IRNA – A senior official Wednesday urged the Majlis (Parliament) to approve a government package to bring the country out of recession as soon as possible as ratification of the plan will lead to economic prosperity. Ali Yazdani, a deputy at the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade said here that inflation control is an indication of the government’s positive activity, expressing hope that the growing trend will become successful through government’s economic plan and cooperation of the Majlis and private sector activists. He said government policies to come out of stagnation and the bill presented to the Majlis in this regard show the government’s prudence in moving towards economic prosperity. Majlis representatives by approving the proposed bill can assist the government in making the country’s economy resistant. Yazdani pointed to the efforts to encourage people to use domestic commodities as a step towards realization of ‘resistant economy’ and said producers by producing high quality products should maintain active presence in competitive markets. He said business development in the country was in need of cooperation among the three branches of the government and other organizations in the country. He stressed that in the light of this cooperation perhaps what people deserve in the field of economic prosperity could be offered./end
