Gov’t Raises Fuel Service Rates

Tehran, March 11, IRNA - The government’s Economic Council has raised the service rates for four oil products, said the director for commercial affairs of the National Iranian Oil Products Company (NIOPDC) said. The rise in rates for gasoline, gas oil, kerosene and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) comes in response to a proposal from the NIOPDC, SHANA quoted Mohammad-Reza Mazloumi as saying. Mazloumi added that the service rates have increased to Rls350 per liter of gasoline, up Rls100, in Tehran. The rates are Rls290 in big cities and Rls250 in other cities for every liter of gasoline. Mazloumi said the service rates for gas oil and kerosene are Rls75 per liter, up Rls15 , and for LPG Rls300, up Rls100./end
