Govt Buys Back Rp499.5 Bln Worth Of State Securities

Jakarta, June 14 (Antara) - The Indonesian government has bought back four series of state debt securities worth Rp499.5 billion directly from the secondary market. The Directorate General of Debt Management of the ministry of finance said here on Friday the decision was made for the management of debt securities portfolio with an aim of withdrawing the fixed interest series that were not liquid. The transaction was carried out on Thursday through the dealing room facility at the directorate general. One of the four SUN series bought is FR0048 worth Rp144.5 billion at a price of 114.70 percent. The bond has a coupon of 9.0 percent and a maturity until September 15, 2018. The others are FR0028 worth Rp50 billion at a price of 115.90 percent with a coupon of 10 percent and a maturity on April 15, 2017, FR0055 worth Rp145 billion at a price of 105 percent with a coupon of 7.38 percent and a maturity on September 15, 2016 and FR0060 worth Rp160 billion at a price of 102.20 percent with a coupon of 6.25 percent and a maturity on April 15, 2017. The transactions are scheduled to be settled on June 17
