Govt. efforts, peoples' active participation will help remove stagflation

Arak, Markazi Prov., Oct 29, IRNA – Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said providing a proper condition for coming out of stagflation is a difficult task but can be realized through effective efforts of the government and active participation of people and private sector. Addressing a session of dialogue between public and private sectors on Tuesday, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said economic conditions of the country especially in the field of support for production is improving, adding that next year better condition will be observed in production and industrial sectors. Stressing on institutionalization of the culture of consuming domestic products, the minister said people should be proud of using domestic commodities, a task which demands targeted planning and effective activities of the government and private sector. Nematzadeh said the 11th government pays special attention to boosting export market as the main principle of policies to end recession for which ideological and mental support of the elite is highly essential. Meanwhile, Governor General of Markazi Province Mohammad Hossein Moqimi said the dialog between the government and private sector has removed many problems, particularly reduction of inflation rate from 30% to 19%. He said 2,960 production and industrial units as well as a large number of agricultural units are active in the province, adding that prosperity of production and industrial units will play an effective role in the economic circulation of the country./end
