Gulf Air sales office opened in western province

Manama, Sept. 2 (BNA): Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in collaboration with the airline’s Saudi Arabia General Sales Agent, Al Tayyar Travel and Tourism Group recently opened a new, dedicated sales office in Al Madina Al Munawarah – serving the western province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The official opening ceremony was attended by Gulf Air Country Manager to Al Madina Al Munawarah, Zubair Ahmed Muhammed, Al Tayyar Travel and Tourism Group’s Executive Vice President of the western region Saeed Alfreeh and a number of representatives from both companies. During the opening ceremony Muhammed praised the fruitful partnership and cooperation between Gulf Air and Al Tayyar Travel and Tourism Group adding that the opening of this new dedicated sales office for Gulf Air is part of the airline’s ongoing expansion strategy and business plan within Saudi Arabia and their mission to provide quality, exemplary customer service as it strives to enhance its competitive position in the aviation market, which is, to date, witnessing significant growth in passenger traffic across the airline’s Saudi Arabia destinations. Gulf Air operates 4 direct weekly flights to/from Al Madina Al Munawarah and direct multiple daily flights between Bahrain and all of: Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. Most recently, the national carrier commenced direct operations to Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport (ELQ, Gassim) and Ta’if Regional Airport (TIF, Taif) in January 2015 with 4 flights per week to each destination.
