Gulf Drilling International Internal Audit Excellence Award

Dubai, December 01 (QNA) - Gulf Drilling International (GDI), a subsidiary of Gulf International Services (GIS), has won the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Excellence Award under the category of internal audit excellence for 2015 during a ceremony that was recently held in Dubai. GDI was chosen as the winner seeing that its internal audit function played a pivotal role in enhancing and embedding corporate governance, risk management and assurance in the company. Further, the audit function proactively and effectively contributed to the management of business risks augmenting GDI's ability to weather wider economic conditions. GDI's CEO Mubarak A. Al-Hajri expressed his contentment upon winning this esteemed award. He said that this award is a true reflection of GDI's commitment to improving corporate culture and bringing more transparency and efficiency in everything we do.
