HEAD OF CABINET SECRETARIAT MEETS ADB REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of Cabinet Secretariat G.Zandanshatar appreciated the continued support of Asian Development Bank to Mongolia during his meeting on January 23 with Indu Bhushan, the bank’s Director-General of East Asia Department. Since 1991, the bank has invested about USD 1.9 billion in Mongolia. Currently, 22 ADB-financed loans, 10 non-refundable aids and 43 technical assistance projects are active. Head of Cabinet Secretariat G.Zandanshatar briefed the Regional Director on the Government’s policy and activities. “The Government of Mongolia is working towards economic reform, stability of growth and food export, and plans to improve the management of state-owned enterprises and sell certain amount of their shares on the Stock Exchange,” he said.
