Hitachi Sunway Helps HANA To Implement Siemens Teamcenter In Thailand

KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 (Bernama) -- Hitachi Sunway Information Systems Sdn Bhd (Hitachi Sunway) is implementing a document management solution from the Siemens Teamcenter (Teamcenter) for HANA Microelectronics Public Co Ltd (HANA) in Thailand. In a statement Tuesday, Hitachi Sunway said HANA would be implementing the Teamcenter Product Data Management (PDM) in customer service, operations (process engineer, test engineer and production), material and production control planner, quality management (document contol, auditor, supplier quality engineer, internal quality assurer) and purchasing department. HANA is an electronic manufacturer in South East Asia, producing a variety of microelectronics, semi-conductor and integrated circuits, among others. Executive Vice President Billy Lee Kok Chi said with Teamcenter in place, HANA would be able to track changes and have a visual of the whole product lifecycle from one single point. "This helps eliminate any chance for costly errors, while reducing cost and time of production, improving the quality of production and delivery time," said Lee. Meanwhile, HANA's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - MIS & Corporate Affair, Terry Weir said: "We choose to work with Hitachi Sunway as we were confident that their vast portfolio and successful implementations for clients made them the right choice for us.
