Hitachi Sunway Partners Tata Communications

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 (Bernama) -- Hitachi Sunway Information Systems Sdn Bhd Thursday announced a partnership with telecommunications company Tata Communications Ltd, in a mutual effort to strengthen the two companies' presence in ASEAN. In a statement, the information technology services and solutions provider said under the partnership, Tata Communications would provide a variety of solutions for multi-protocol label switching and cloud security, among others, to Hitachi Sunway's customers. "Tata Communications' products will help us offer a complete IT suite to our customers. "For customers, this means Hitachi Sunway is their single point of contact providing end-to-end digital transformation for their business," said Hitachi Sunway Group Chief Executive Officer Cheah Kok Hoong. Meanwhile, Tata Communications Head of Global Enterprise Business Sumeet Walia said the company has continued to invest in a broad range of service expansions in the past year by introducing new advanced managed services to emerging and developed markets. "This strategic partnership is a key component of this strategy as we deliver dedicated platforms that enable business transformation for enterprises across the globe. "Hitachi Sunway's regional presence and credibility are the reason we picked them as our partner here in ASEAN," he added.
