IDB To Cooperate In Infrastructural Projects In E.Azarbaijan Province

Tabriz, E. Azarbaijan, July 8, IRNA – Representative of the Islamic Development Bank in Iran said here Monday the IDB is to allocate euro 120 million to construction of infrastructural projects in this northwestern province. Ali Fallahi made the remarks in a meeting with the provincial governor general Ahmad Alirezabeigi on the sideline of the 4th International Forum on Investment Opportunities of East Azarbaijan province. Pointing to the IDB cooperation in implementing provincial water projects, he said the body is ready to cooperate in infrastructural, water resources, agricultural and industrial fields. Falahi further referred to the forum as a positive event. The 4th International Forum on Investment Opportunities of East Azarbaijan opened in Tabriz Saturday morning. Some 400 domestic and foreign investors from 35 countries are participating in the event. Exchange of technical and commercial experiences by foreign investors, merchants and business people participating in the conference and promotion of investment are main objectives of the event./end
