ILF Aims To Overcome Infrastructure Gap In Indonesia

Jakarta, Oct 29 (Antara) - The upcoming Infrastructure Leaders Forum (ILF) here on October 31, 2013, will consider solutions to filling the gaps in infrastructure seen in various regions across Indonesia, according to ILF Chairman John Scott Younger. "The forum is expected to overcome gaps in infrastructure and to speed up development in Indonesia," said Younger, the director of PT Nusantara Infrastructure here on Monday. According to Younger, the forum will be attended by some 350 participants representing various infrastructure-related sectors, including the publicly listed PT Nusantara Infrastructure, Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), Rajawali Corpora, the Australian Government Trade Commission, Australia Limited, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, Thiess, BTPN, ICBC Bank, and several national mass media outlets. "The forum also aims to yield innovative ideas and will officially state its intention to increase the pace of infrastructure development in Indonesia," Younger noted, adding that it is important for the forum to match the success of ILF 2012. ILF 2012 took place at the Four Seasons Hotel here on Nov. 22, 2012, bringing together senior government officials, leading academics, and senior business executives to discuss issues related to the development of Indonesia`s infrastructure. The event was a resounding success, attracting positive comments from presenters, panelists, and the 310 participants who found the event useful and productive both for the insights and information gleaned from the presentations and for the opportunity to network with other professionals.
