Inacraft 2013 To Be Held In Jakarta

Jakarta, April 22 (Antara) - Inacraft, a national biggest annual craft exhibition, will be held again at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in April 24 to 28, 2013. "This will be the 15th Inacraft exhibition which has been held annually since 1999," said President Director of PT Mediatama Binakreasi, the event organizer of Inacraft, Bramantyo here on Monday. The Inacraft is held as a cooperation between the Handicraft Producer and Exporter Association (Asephi), several ministries and state-owned enterprises related to cooperatives, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) empowerment and development programs, he explained. "The Inacraft 2013 will take `from smart village to global market` tagline as the theme of the event aimed at facilitating and promoting Indonesian craft products to the wider market," he said. Bramantyo said the Inacraft 2013 will be participated in by around 1,300 craft producers as well as craft exporters from 33 provinces of Indonesia. In this year`s event, several foreign participants from Thailand, Iran and Malaysia will also join the exhibition. "We predict that the number of visitors to Inacraft 2013 will reach 200 thousand people as this exhibition is a national scale event," he said. The organizer also expected trade transactions to increase 7.5 percent from last year`s that reached Rp203 billion of which Rp88 billion came from business contacts and Rp115 billion from retail trade.
