Inclinica And IC Lifesciences Open New Asia-Pacific HQ In Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- InClinica, together with its subsidiary, IC LifeSciences, have opened its new Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters located at Menara KH here. The regional HQ would serve as InClinica's hub for clinical trial management and life science business development for the Asia-Pacific region. InClinica, headquartered in Philadelphia, USA, is a global clinical contract research organisation (CRO) that works on all phases of clinical development. "InClinica has committed itself to Malaysia and this grand opening represents our continued growth and commitment to building a sustainable and growing organisation in Malaysia," InClinica Executive Vice-President Jeffrey Scott Yablon said in a statement on Monday. Meanwhile, MAHSA University Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Dr. Mohd Ismail Merican, who also serves as a key advisor to InClinica, said clinical trials conducted in Malaysia would have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the people. "In a country facing high incidences of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity, the availability of new treatments and medical devices will surely benefit Malaysians," he said. The InClinica Asia-Pacific Regional office is a key addition to the company's global network and reaffirms the company's commitment to developing the clinical research ecosystem in the region. Coupled with firm collaborative partnerships with existing Malaysian firms, such as the Melaka's preclinical laboratory, MyBioScienceLab, InClinica stands ready to provide efficient end to-end clinical development solutions for companies seeking to bring new therapies to the market. In addition to the US and Malaysia, InClinica also has offices in the UK, Australia and Greece. --BERNAMA
