India, EAEU to start free trade zone talks this year - Russian trade representative

GANDHINAGAR, January 11. /TASS/. India and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will start free trade zones this year, Russia’s trade representative in India Yaroslav Tarasyuk said on Wednesday. "Russia is part of the Eurasian Economic Union, a fairly attractive market for India. Negotiations on the free trade zone establishment between the EAEU and India will start this year," Tarasyuk said. Russia is currently following a new economic mode, Tarasyuk said. "Its main specificity is that attention is focused on development of production and service sphere, greater non-resource export and improvement of conditions for business," he added. Read more
