India-Iran To Explore Possibilities In Trade Expansion

New Delhi, April 27, IRNA -- With a view to exploring possibilities of expansion in India-Iran trade, a 23 member business delegation will be visiting Tehran April 27-30, 2013 to attend the ‘First Export Capabilities Exhibition of Islamic Republic of Iran’. The visit is being facilitated by the Iran Consulate at Hyderabad, said Hassan Nourian Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hyderabad, capital city of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the aim of this exhibition is to introduce the current local export capabilities to foreign buyers and will be a platform for actual and potential customers to enhance trade. Nourian said that the Indian delegation will have meetings with important stakeholders of the industry and discuss ways and means to increase cooperation between the Indian and Iran companies. Apart from Tehran, the delegation will also visit Busher and Shiraz to interact and explore the business opportunities, added the Iranian diplomat. The delegation will be led by Devendra Surana, President, Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) and Patron of Chamber of Commerce for Iran Trade Promotion (CCITP) and P. Prem Kumar, President CCITP. The exhibition is being organized by Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Islamic Republic of Iran along with Event & Exhibition Industry Development Company./end
