Indian pharmaceutical companies interested in developing new medicine in Russia - Industry and Trade Minister Manturov

MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. Indian pharmaceutical companies are interested in producing new medicine in Russia, the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov told journalists Tuesday. "We are actively working with a number of pharmaceutical companies from India that are not only interested in the localization of their own products in our country, but also in creating new products. It interests us even more, and the prospects in this field are quite large," he said. In particular, according to the Minister, the Indian company Ranbaxy Laboratories is working together with the Russian company Khimrar on the basis of the "Northern" pharmaceutical cluster.
