Indonesia Continues Purchase Of Iran Oil : Envoy

Tehran, Aug 7, IRNA – Indonesian Ambassador to Tehran Dian Wirengjurit said his country continues purchase of Iran's oil despite the unilateral sanctions imposed on the country. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Wirengjurit said Indonesia is in need of trade exchanges with the Islamic Republic and will continue its all-out cooperation with Iran. Indonesia, as a developing country, is interested in making use of Iran's valuable technological experiences, he added. Referring to the consequences of the unilateral sanctions on Iran, the Indonesian envoy said those sanctions have badly affected world nations. On Iran's peaceful nuclear program, he said Jakarta supports Iran's pursuance of peaceful nuclear technology./end
